Do you ever hold yourself back from doing something because you don’t feel confident enough yet? Do you tell yourself things like, “I’ll do that when,” or “Once I book this many clients, I’ll…”
BOY HAVE I BEEN THERE DONE THAT & AM NEVER DOING THAT ISH AGAIN. This is the most common limiting belief I hear from my coaching clients and aspiring entrepreneurs in general. It’s also the biggest and most important one to PUSH through.
The truth is, no one who has achieved any success waited until they were ready. They were scared just like you but they did the thing ANYWAY. I want to teach you one of my favorite ways to push through imposter syndrome and increase your confidence, are you ready?
A Confidence Exercise for Entrepreneurs
Find a quiet space. Take some deep breaths. Imagine yourself right in front of you. Imagine the version of yourself that carries alllll the limiting beliefs of why you’re not where you want to be. Hear your own voice, see your own face. Now as politely or aggressively as you want, physically move that person out of your DANG WAY. They’re gone – see ya never.
Now, visualize the you that you WANT to be. Do you want to travel more? Visualize yourself in a Parisian cafe eating a croissant. Do you want fill your wedding calendar with dream clients? Visualize yourself with those clients on their wedding day. GET SPECIFIC AF.
I’m telling you right now, if you actually do this. (DO IT, #noexcuses) You will immediately FEEL more confident to take the next step towards who you want to be.
